Rosemarie Black AKA Racetrack Rosie.
We all remember Rosemarie as "The Hat Lady" where I am from. Matching bra top and leather mini's with stilettos. Why?? Because she had the shape and body to do so, even at an older age. I have seen her in White Castle on 79th and Stony Island, seen her in McDonald's on 65th and Stony Island, then would turn around and see her in Jewel on 95th and Stony Island. I swear this woman would walk every where. That's why she kept that soul sista shape past the age of 60. Everyone knew her...Oprah Winfrey even knew her and countless other celebrities.
This would not be the Stony Isle Profile if there was no post In Memory of....

Rest in peace Ms Rose as a very small child she was my first girlfriend lol I loved her outfits and hats I always blew my horn in respect when I saw her because she always did her thing I have not seen her in a while but she will be missed a chicago ic on
