Respect the R-Kitech!!

R-Kitech has been around...and I mean AROUND!!  Being signed to Devante Swing's (from Jodeci's) label alongside young Timbaland and Missy Elliot, to being signed to Dr. Dre's label from Yo MTV Raps, and all the way to putting in work with PMD and the Legendary Hit Squad.  Here is the video from Rkitech - "The Feeling" featuring Precise, from the single "Back To the Basics".

Thaione Davis - Feel Right

Its Only Right This Dude was born to use Mics...

Check out Thaione Davis's latest dope contribution to Chicago's legacy.  He has an international fan following.  I remember when I first met this cat on a name to name basis.  We came past each other many times over the years in Dr. Wax, but both of us being humble dudes we didn't introduce ourselves as "Yo, I RHYME!!"  I was looking at wax and he was like "get that one, it's dope", low and behold it was my old 12 inch record...then it was respect across the board when I realized "he" was "him"

The Hat Lady... RoseMarie Black dies at 79.

In Memory of....
Rosemarie Black  AKA Racetrack Rosie.

We all remember Rosemarie as "The Hat Lady" where I am from.  Matching bra top and leather mini's with stilettos.  Why?? Because she had the shape and body to do so, even at an older age.  I have seen her in White Castle on 79th and Stony Island, seen her in McDonald's on 65th and Stony Island, then would turn around and see her in Jewel on 95th and Stony Island.  I swear this woman would walk every where.  That's why she kept that soul sista shape past the age of 60.   Everyone knew her...Oprah Winfrey even knew her and countless other celebrities.

This would not be the Stony Isle Profile if there was no post In Memory of....
Rosemarie Black AKA Racetrack Rosie.  Rest In Paradise!!  You were a Chicago icon.
